The concept
The versatile SpaceCamper provides its owner with an enormous variety of options. The following examples are just five of many possible combinations:

The SpaceCamper seats five adults in comfort and security. The compact seating arrangement enables easy communication between occupants, even whilst driving. At the rear, this layout permits an unusually large storage space under the sleeping area, with dimensions of 1,35 X 1,10 X 0,45 m. This amounts to a cavernous volume of approx. 700 litres.

When travelling, e.g. on a skiing or surfing holiday, the already voluminous load space can be even further expanded by taking out the drawers from under the rear seats. This then gives a continuous available length of up to 3,5m where sports equipment can be easily stowed and safely protected from weather and theft. Even in everyday use, such as on a trip to the DIY store, this uninterrupted length of load space can prove extremely useful. A roof rack is therefore unnecessary, and the vehicle can safely be driven into car parks with the all-too-common height restriction of 2m. The absence of a roof rack also brings the advantages of reduced wind noise and fuel consumption.
